Club Highlights
The Dearborn Heights Soccer Club U12
Mustangs, with participation from U11 Mustang players participated in
the Motor City Indoor Soccer Challenge. They finished 2 -1 in the
standings which earned them a spot in the Championship game. They
mounted a great comeback with under 10 minutes left to rally from a 4-1
deficit and tying the game with seconds left to play. They fell a little
short in the penalty kick shootout phase and lost the game on penalty
kicks 5 - 6 to finish as tournament runner ups.

Congratulation .. goes out to our own
Dearborn Heights U8 Mustangs Boys for their sweeping win in their select
division this fall season with an impressive 8-0 record. Coach Bazzi and
his assistant coach Chahrour must be very proud of them all. Way to go.

U9 Boys Blaze won their Division this
fall season with an impressive 7-1 record. Coach Miles and staff did a
wonderful job this season with the team and all their hard work paid
off.

Congratulations on a Successful
Tournament!

While most people were relaxing over the Labor Day Weekend, the U16
Strikers spent their weekend at the 32nd annual Palatine Celtic Cup
(Palatine, IL) where they played five soccer games in three days. The
Strikers went 3-0 without giving up a goal in their bracket to earn a
spot in the semi-finals against a cross town rival Livonia City Soccer
Club team. The team was firing on all cylinders as they earned a spot in
the Championship Game with a 6-0 semi-final victory. The Strikers did
not disappoint as they battled a tournament team from Glen Ellyn, IL to
a 1-0 loss. Though the Strikers fell short of their championship goal,
they were able to hold their heads high as a finalists in a very
competitive out-of-state tournament.

everyone else connected to the club is the most important factor to us.
There are other fields for practices that we are permitted by the city
as the club to play on. Just check the field table in the upper left
corner for availability. if you have any questions or concerns, please
email us and let us know how can we help in any way.

Volunteers Needed
The Dearborn Heights
Soccer Club is a volunteer club and this is how we
afford to provide soccer to the community at a low
cost. Without the assistance from volunteers
the cost of playing soccer in Dearborn Heights would
be impacted as we would have to contract out any
work if we do not have volunteers to help the club
succeed. Please click the link below to help
support DHSC.

REFEREES
Referees are always welcome and
needed. If you get certified by USSF and provide a receipt for your class
plus referee 5 games for DHSC, the club will reimburse you the $50 fee.
