Coach Mike Harris earns Recreational Coach of the Year!

DHSC would like to congratulate Coach Mike Harris for his recognition by Michigan State Youth Soccer Association - MSYSA, he received the 2017 coach of the year award for his outstanding achievement in Soccer. He was nominated by the club and supported by his current and past parents. On March 9, 2017 we were able to join him at the Annual Awards Ceremony in Midland, MI and celebrate this momentous occasion. Coach Mike was also nominated for National Coach of the year for US Youth Soccer representing the Midwest district and was runner up! We are very proud of the honor for our coach and coaching team as this was our second coach to win this award in three years. Mike is currently our U13 girls coach and we are thankful he had a dedicated 25 plus years to Dearborn Heights soccer.
